Wetsanded with fine, polished with stratch-X... still something left to desire...
Like the topis says... thats what I did to a piece of broken off racecar i had from visiting Watkins Glenn a few years ago (it appears to be fiberglass or carbon fiber) anyway it was orange peelish and had some scratches and paint from another car on it.
Wetsanding took care of all that... I started with fine and thats it (all I had) then polished it like 3 times with Meguairs Scratch-X...
It still has some -very- fine (thiner than a hair) swirles in it, and I feel the color could be made solid, darker, and really shine...
What do I need to add to these steps to get what I'm looking for?
Thanks!

rub it with hand glaze a bunch of times until those swirls are gone, then put a few coats of wax (cleaning wax is best) followed by a straight polish (i.e. no abrasive stuff).
