How about best looking engine in a black Camaro for now.

I like these:
#1. Ions91Z28 - It's just sweet. Nothing else to say.
#2. RSpeed - Like the look he's created but needs some work.
#3. IROCthe5.7L - Nice car. Unfortunately, I value mods over looks so RSpeed just squeezes out #2.

This is what I suggest for rules. https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=75129
I got a black 89 IROC-Z, but I don't have any pics of it currently on my computer or the web... oh and I have the Gold package (gold trim, decal, and rims, and tan interior) which seems to be a rarity of the black camaros here...

Well, there is alot fewer pictures of black camaros than I had orginally thought. I guess it is time to get the poll going though. We've made about 2-3 just talking about starting a camaro poll.
If I can get a CGI-Bin sometime soon, I'll setup a poll... if not, we'll just do three posts. Black, Red, Others and then combine the 3 (like what Qwktrip said) and another one to equal 10.

Ok, I'll brave this post... Looks like I'm the first of the "non-GFX" guys to post. I'll admit I like RSpeeds car the best, even over mine, but I'll enter myself anyway.

All in good fun, the poll ought to be good. Wish the best of luck too all of our black cars... I guess for once I'm glad I'm in this one, because if I wasn't... I would certainly have a hard time choosing between you all.

Hey Ions, stock hood or custom hood, doesn't matter. There are alot of people on here that like a really sweet stock Camaro than a customized one. You seem to be getting more votes than me, lol, maybe it's just me.

Heh, I'm just joking about the hoods. I'm a fan of both. I have a 2.5" cowl hood sitting downstairs, just needs to be fitted and painted. I'm a fan of all of our black cars... hell blue, red and the rest as well. Was just messing around above. I look forward to a good poll...
btw, RamAirZ... I was thinking the same on the polls except with you being ahead of me... but RSpeed seems to be getting more than everyone.
Maybe it's about time we get this poll going.

I think if I had my rims, I would be right there with him. Once I get my TV/DVD at the end of the month, I'll be pimp'n, lol. Just messing around (am getting it though

What kind of DVD are you getting? You talking about getting a TV or like a headunit with a LCD screen. At one time I was thinking about getting the Pioneer top of the line headunit. Decided I should save my money instead.
I still plan to evetually get everything I want...but right now I have to get into college.
BTW, what rims are planning to go with?

It's a headunit with a 7in Motorized LCD screen, AM/FM tuner, 50 watts x 4, front/rear/sub/CD Changer/ AUX output, Audio and Video inputs, and I have a mobile DVD player I'd hook up to it to play my CD's and DVD movies. Right now I am trying to decide on my rims. I was looking at the Vortec Z rims, Boyd Timeless, or some Billet Specialties. I haven't picked one. That is why I don't have any yet, lol. I can't decide what I want.

You know,if I didn't have aftermarket wheels,I would have the iroc wheels. Something about the iroc wheels that I really like. Too bad you're not nearby,we could trade rims for a day and see what each other's cars look like with the different rims
Oh.What head unit is it you're doing? I just installed a Kenwood in dash dvd head unit w/ motorized screen in a Tahoe the other day.It was a pretty cool piece, but our dealer price was $1800,and it retails for $2400. We're going to put a dvd in my brother's RS flush mounted in the pass side dash with a flip down screen under the center vents.

Yeah, too bad. If I did, we could go cruisin. Have you seen the new MA Audio one. They just came out with it. They compare it to the Pioneer. Retails for 2 grand, I can get it for 700. My friend owns a shop, and I hooked him up a long time ago in getting people to sponsor him i guess you could say to open up the business, so he can get me it at a good price. I had thought about the flip down LCD and keep my new headunit I just got, lol. But I decided on changing it out. That sounds sweet as hell though.

I'm posting these for RSpeed, I love his engine, lol. Damn you
Mine won't be ready (the way I want it) for another month or 2. Then I can swap it in. By the way, the edelbrock valve cover job with the red paint is a really nice touch.

Thanks RamAirZ. I'm going to get the Edelbrock air cleaner to match the valve covers and then paint it also. What motor are you swapping in yours?
