Just when it seems like we've gone through all the COTM-worthy rides at TGO, here is a group of sweet Third Gens that, I, for one, have never seen before.
Thanks for the nomination !! However, I'm not certain I qualify for COTM as I recently sold it.
(You guys know me, I buy/sell/trade fairly often )
A good friend purchased it and it resides not far from me so I will see it from time to time and have right of first refusal if he ever decides to sell it

(You guys know me, I buy/sell/trade fairly often ) Anyway, on the chance it still qualifies, here are some more pics....
The car had 17,600 miles on it and I had purchased it from the original owner - you dont see too many 91 RS T-Top 5 speeds around
and this one was fully documented from day 1 - only modification I made to it was removal of the AIR pump and plumbing and the Hawks 17" GTA wheels

Sorry, but that does not qualify. I went ahead and edited you out of this month's COTM. It is a nice car though. I'm glad you found a good home for it.
And hopefully, whoever voted for BizJetTech will have there ability to cast a vote restored. If you are that person, and you are unable to cast another vote, let me know.
Thanks so much for the Nomination. This car has truely been my most favorite of what I've owned to date. Picked this one up in Norfolk VA bone stock with blue interior. The perfect canvas to make my own. To make it a little different I did a few cosmetic and drivetrain changes to make it standout but nothing too wild I hope. Brand new lq4 shortblock with a cammotion titan 4 cam., t-56, Ford 8.8, full exhaust with 2nd gen T/A tips, reupholstered recaro seats, Wings west spoiler, C4 front brakes and 98-02 ls1 Rears. Big Thanks to some of the members here for guidance and assistance on this one. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...on-recaro.html
As a general rule, it's hard to vote for a car if the owner doesn't show up to give the story and pics of the car.
I agree 100%. For all we know, the other sides of those cars can be side swiped, vandalized, the interiors could be completely ratted out, burned to the ground from a freak electrical short, etc etc etc......yet people still vote off of one pic. It absolutely makes zero sense to me.
I look at it like this. If the owner cant take the time to post pics and info, it obviously means he doesn't care about the nomination. Those cars will NEVER get my vote.

Clean87ta and Slowbalt both logged in last 5/21. Slowbalt has 16 posts since joining in 2007 and Clean87ta has 12 since 2011... not stating that for any reason other than they just dont seem very active on the forums. So it could simply be that that neither come on here very often to see that they’re nominated. And the PM and email, could easily be turned off or just not seen.
Just stinks cuz this is what got me coming back to the forums every month when I was between thirdgens. I absolutely love COTM. The amazing cars and the stories. Cant beat that. Sad that we only get 1 this month.
Sorry fellas for the late reply.. been really busy being away from home.. I do really appreciate the nomination for car of the month! A lil back story to this car.. My dad bought this car for me back when I was 14 now I’m 31. Since it’s taken me 16 years to have it at its current form.. it’s been a really fun project although it’s not perfect but I do drive every time time that I can. The car has an Ls1 with full bolt-ons 243 heads and cammed. Trans is a 6 speed T-56 10 bolt with 4.10’s. The springs are an unknown brand but sits pretty good. The exhaust is a full 3” all the way to the back using a Spintech exhaust. The brakes are 1st gen CTSV calipers with C6 Z06 rotors the tears are stock 4th gen fbody and the wheels are CCW Classics 17x9.5 and 17x11 (4th gen figment). The seats are 4th gen TA the gauges are stock and the wiring harness was built by a member on this forum “Pocket”. Gauges work like stock. I really enjoy this car and gets a lot of attention since these care are hard to come by in my area. Added engine pic. I have some C5 Corvette fuel rail covers but I would have to modify them to fit this ls2 intake and fuel rails. I tried keeping it as clean as possible and simple as well.

OMG, that is clean!!! Love the engine bay, the whole car really!! I stumbled onto your post last month and knew I had my nomination for June!! Sweet man! Looks amazing!
That car is sick. So mean looking. I actually prefer no covers on your engine because its still so clean looking but tough at the same time. Great car.
