Well this was moved to detailing. Aside from the wheels the car is all original and historical

Just giving her a bath before I do some work over the winter!

Will have these to put on in the spring. Have the original wheels as well but they need some love and new tires.

The green bastard from parts unknown I had an identical twin but in GTA form so I have an extra soft spot for green cars, and that ones going to look excellent with those wheels. I wonder how they'd look with a gold accent where they'd normally be green or red

Yes definitely something about that green. When I found the car for sale the pictures on Craigslist were taken at dusk and the car looked black, to which I really did not mind. Imagine my surprise when I pulled up to check it out and it was green. Almost could make a deal quick enough lol.

The wheels not sure. The gold might look ok but I think it may be an odd contrast against the machined face? Maybe not I just know these things are way too nice for me to go painting lol

I love em! Hell I love the black crosslace wheels, too, but the 17" Ronal's will have a killer stance!

Those Firehawk wheels are the best non-original wheels on Thirdgens IMO... On the 91-92 Z28 I think they look better than the stock wheels...

We hit 66 degrees yesterday, but it was 15 degrees and black ice two days before that so they were dumping salt everywhere... was hoping for a spin around the block, but nope! This weather is a big tease!

Re: What do you do when it’s 53 degrees in January?

Yes I agree with you both! I have loved the look of these wheels since I first saw the 92 Firehawk back in the day. Have always wanted a set and the deal I got on these I could not pass up.

We had similar temps around Christmas Day that I was tempted to get my Firehawk out and make a few laps. About the evening time I talked to my brother and he told me he had gotten his LeMans out and cruised it a bit. Then I was bummed like I should have. I mean how often do you get the chance to drive a Firehawk on Christmas Day in northern Illinois? 😂 Had a nice string of weather here with no salt on the roads and some rain days prior. Should have seized my opportunity it’s not so nice out now lol
