Wait a minute...
Did I miss something or did that car go into winter hibernation an RS and emerge after some metamorphosis as an IROC?

Haha yep, it got a makeover right before I put it away. I changed absolutely everything visually to make it look like an IROC. I shared the transformation in the History/Originality section in the original thread from when I bought the car.

Finally spotted another Third Gen at a show today. Great weather today after rain almost all week long.Made 500 mi on the new engine, time for first oil change. Running fantastic!

Took my first drive today. Feeling out some new suspension mods, axle bearings, and rear brakes. Nothing fell apart. Nothing leaked (yet). Better than normal, I suppose.

For some reason they look great with snow around them. Maybe it's because I know how helpless they can be on bad roads and it was nice to get back on the road once cleared. Back in PA, I never hibernated mine during the winter and drove it whenever I could.

Got the Blue 89 on the road after a total makeover. All I have left to do is install the new carpet. I drove it about 60 miles today, and even got a couple thumbs up! It's going to be a fun car!

I'm as biased as can be when it comes to 3rd gens. I like no car better. But how can anyone not look at your pics and just say, "Wow!" Those last two pics with the side views? You really can't have a better-looking car.

Y'know, I was coming to terms with not having a Third Gen in the driveway this spring, then I scrolled through this thread. Like I understand skill and talent, but the magic touch Dagwood seems to have with these cars is damn near unbelievable. How does your clone look more true to an IROC than most people's actual IROC??
If anyone wants to trade for the forbidden blue oval, I'll be here

Wow man, thank you very much for the compliment! I really appreciate it! I sure put a lot of love into these things, and I am glad that others also appreciate the hard work.
There are a ton of people on here with some pretty incredible builds and insane talent. I wish I could build a killer engine, and suspension modded car, but my abilities are limited to cosmetics lol
