Washiing your car in the winter

I was just wondering what you guys do in the winter to keep your car clean(i know i shouldn't drive it in the winter, but i have no choice) I usaully just rinse her off about every other day(new paint in Dec. so i am **** about it) But now it is getting almost impossible to get in the car in the morning because the doors are frozen shut. I think it is just the new weatherstripping freezing to the glass. I dry the weatherstripping, but it still does it. I just want any tips or suggestions how to keep her clean and still be able to open the freakin doors. Any ideas or tips.

one thing you can d to keep the doors from freezing shut i to spray white lithium grease or silicone spray in the door jambs and on the weather stripping, this will keep it from freezin to the body, if i think of anything else ill let you know

I wash mine every saturday at the DIY car wash. Dry the door jambs really well along with the weatherstripping to keep the doors from freezing shut.

I handwash my car once a week! Come on ppl quit being lazy, and i'm up here in Canada!

Seriously though. It takes me about 15 minutes to quickly wash the whole car. then I vacuum it (10 minutes) clean windows (5-7 minutes) then by time this is all done tires are dry enough to put some tire dressing on. I use Zaino leather conditioner once a month on all my weather stripping and it works AWESOME! I always spray hinges with graphite (2 mins) and then whipe engine bay down (5 mins)

Total time to keeping my car MINT : 40 mins/week.

Maybe I'm the nut... but I constantly get comments about how clean my car is... and if I ever go to sell it I know i'll get a good price.

Just my opinion anyway
