Cleaned and detailed her. Ready for 1st show of the year.

Changed oil yesterday and will change rear end oil with gasket as there is a small leak.

She just turned 30 and still looks pretty good.

Did notice my passenger front side bulb is out.

Nice! That red leather is sure in nice shape, and looks great. Enjoy the show!

I notice the paint has lost a lot of luster. Have you tried a polishing compound before? If not, then I think you'd be really happy with how well it glows after that.

My son recommended the same thing. Will be hiring my buddy who does this on the side before heading to Carlisle in June. Thanks

I think you'll be really happy with the outcome. I hired a professional after my car sat 17 years and it was worth every penny. I've been able to do the upkeep on my own ever since, but that first round needed somebody that really knew what they were doing.

I'd tuck out of sight that white wire that runs across the radiator support and is bunched up at the battery. Tire kickers like to point that stuff out at car shows. 2nd and third gen Camaros are pretty rare in car shows around here. Pretty amazing car!

4th owner put the lock on tank. Have original. Try to fix ecm issue with fans. Rigged up temporary fix with switch.

Thanks for compliments

Was the 3:23 rear gear the standard gear in that car, special option, or did you put that in?

That locking door was a option for 82-86

The way people are stealing gas these days that'd be a good option for any third gen. The gas tank is near impossible to get to and the locking door might keep the scum away from it.

After studying for a month or so on and off, I picked up the tools and practiced on my wife and daughters cars before moving any of mine. even if the paint in great condition, lots of buildup can accumulate, dulling your finish. Car looking great Top!!
