In 2022 we had some incredible COTM winners... We stacked all these up to determine the 2022 Car of the Year and in the end BajaDaze and his wonderful 1989 IROC LT5 powered convertible was the clear winner! Congrats!!! https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/auto...tm-2022-a.html

I still trying to figure out why we have the COTM when the COTM never gets updated on the homepage. It's been June 2022 COTM forever. I mean what's the point of it all. The current COTM should be at the top of the homepage until next month's winner is declared then that COTM should be at the top of the homepage and the other one drop down one position below it.

COTM was not centered around being on the front page. It was about the community sharing their nice example of the ThirdGen, participating discussions within the forums about their ThirdGen, and showcasing the best of the best ThirdGen all within the forums.
The failure to update the front page is on me, as I'm the one to do it. Part of the issue is that it is not intuitive. The other part is a well-known fact that the front-page, like most sites like ThirdGen, is not where the views and activity are. It's not uncommon for sites like this to have the members bookmark the forums, bypassing the front page, as well as search queries going directly to the forum.
