1989 IROC Z Help
I am trying to find my first car. I ordered it new from Rick Ball Chevy in Boonville Missouri and took it home the spring of 1989. I traded to Joe Machens Ford in Columbia Missouri on a truck in the fall of that year. I dont have a VIN or anything to go off of. Just seeing if anyone can help.

If you got any pics of it or could describe something sort of unique about it you MIGHT have a chance. As it is now nobody is gonna have any clue. I imagine that dealer sold LOTS of Camaros and it has almost certainly changed hands several times since then.
It is probably infested with mice, sinking into the mud in some back yard in Missouri while waiting 20+ years for someone to figure out how to make all their crappy "mods" work.

Contact the county courthouse where you had it registered and if you have any pics of the car from when you had it, they can get you a vin off of your license plate. That would be a good place to start

You're going to have to find the car's VIN to have any shot at all at locating it, and even with a VIN, that's no guarantee that anyone at your state's DMV will be willing to help you. Had a similar issue with the Ohio DMV a couple of years ago; let's just say that they were "less" than "helpful." I hope you have better luck than I had.
