Sorry to say this but...
Alot of you guys always talk smack about import guys and what not. Saying how their rims are ugly, their taste is ugly, etc, etc. Yet you guys go and put big chrome rims!? Liek centerlines or boyds? I mean most centerlines dont even have spokes. I dono...Im not a fan of the domestic style of cars. I love them dont get me wrong on that. ANd I think they are nice cars. But most of the domestic guys I dont like how they tune their cars when it comes for appearence. Big chrome rims, Big huge tips huge tips on a normal exhaust (yet they tease import guys about mufflers), wanting to put another cars wing on their car (yet they tease import guys for putting a wing) Big tires in the back little skinny 5" wide tires in the front. I'm sorry for saying this and what not. But when it comes to style I'm more of an import guy. Which is the reason im making my car somewhat import style. WIth a wing, custom front bumper, headlight conversion, etc. All of you will probably call me a rice boy. But I'm sorry look at yourselfs before calling me the rice boy. Now if I think doing these mods of appearence will make me faster. Then hey thats rice. But when just tuning a car to look better or for show thats not rice. Are not you rice boys for putting a SS looking hood on a thirdgen when the hood scoop is not even functional. To most domestic guys eyes that would be considered rice. Yet they would do it to their cars without thinking twice. And think nothing wrong.
I dono....to many domestic guys are too closed minded. The best way to build a great car is to get what is good from all forms. Import/domestic and forming it into one car. I'm sorry its just I'm kinda mad. HOw you guys flame on my friend Shawn (crazyhawaiian) and also flame on me. For doing a photoshop job. Which if I had done would just be for show. Is there something wrong with wanting your car to look better? I dono...I'm just upset

i can try and explain about some of the things you see on the cars that us "domestic guys" own and hopefully convey to you the reasons for them and at the same time not get every hondadatsunyugotoyotanagasakinutbucket owner breaking out the chopsticks of death on me. and to stay extra safe i suppose that these reasons are only applicable to my ways and dont hold all domestic guys to task for me. #1im a domestic guy born here live here like it here work here earn money here 5 yrs active duty seabee-got the picture there #2fast pushrod v8's (and some not so fast)have been in my domestic blood since i graduated from fixing broken lawnmowers for fun#3 the reason that you see certain "stylings" (it nearly made me giv up this reply to have to type that word) on our rides is because the roots of those "stylings"
are from an actual performance enhancing modification that was learned thru trial and error in the stylish quest for speed-5 inch tires up front and giant by huge wrinklewalls (domestic guy to rice translator beam=slicks)out back werent just applied like a fake vtech sticker they actually did something to make us go faster. #4we put on exhaust tips that were large cuz the pipe that feeds the shiny tip happens-usually-to be the exact same diameter as the tip itself look in one soon if you get a chance-motor off-and verify. #5 i never really thought of my cars as a hairdo-i wanted the cleanest and most understated car that integrated those parts i needed to go fast-never parts for parts sake.or worse-just getting a sticker of the part and slappin it on "stylishly"of course #6a lot of the domestic guy parts you see on our cars-that seem to bewilder-wheels without spokes- centerline auto drags i guess is what you have seen-have been around forever,light,strong-no spokes-,and looks good too-another functional item in our wardrobe-i guess i could go on and on here but i hope i spewed forth enough so as to allow you to see some basic differences in our approaches to cars. i guess that your ideals are more like just the make-up and hairspray on a barbie doll head and thats ok to style with and my ideals is more along the lines of the yukky insides of the ken doll rippled biceps mostly muscle and let the fake tan fall where it lay.not too stylish(by riceguide first edition standards) but hey thats why we all got optioned from the factory with a swivel neck and the closeable eye viewing package-turn away if i scare you with my big ugly domestic camaro-if you dont behave i WILL get out the big ugly-square edges and all-my 69 plymouth road runner 440+6 and terrorize rice town so bad that you will have nightmares about big heavy chrome things for a long time. ok just kidding about that. try to remember too that the usa is why you get to live like you do and to recognize that by-well you know. therein is some of the misconceptions laid out the best i can right now maybe others can chime in and help(me!)out. seeya
