Polished/Painted IROC rims (pics inside)

I started this months ago and finally decided to finish by painting AND polishing them(i was getting tired of driving around on one fully polished rim). I painted the "inserts" with an aluminum colored spray paint and polished the star portion and around the lip. Then my dad topped it off with a few coats of clear. pics dont look that good(taken with my webcam and laptop) but you probably get the idea.. just thought i'd share..

shoulda painted the inserts a dark color like black.

I just finished a friday saturday and sunday's worth of polishing the 16x8 diamond spoke "crosslace" aka GTA style wheels on my '94 grand prix. they turned out so good, that I'm gonna do my iroc wheels.... even though I'm selling the camaro. @ least they'll look good for the next owner.
