I need to remove the old tint from the rear window of my 87 Trans Am. A tint shop said that it is the old type of tint film that is very difficult to remove, that it comes off in little pieces and could possibly pull off the defogger elements. If anyone has done this job before, I would love to know how they did it and what they used to clean any residue left on the glass.
