I don't think that there are any companies that make clear tailights for Thirdgen's. The only real "body kit" for our car's is by a company called K-1.......but it's more of a Kit Car thing than a body kit, (Meaning it doesn't really add or take away anything from the appearance of the Thirdgen, it just completely changes it). There are some alternate ground effects sold by different companies, but the stock 91-92 Ground Effects still can't be beat in my opinion.

If you don't like the tail lights go with some black out covers. Gotta love 'em. The 91-92 ground effects should swap right over in place of the ground effects you've got on the car now. A Z28 grille really improves the looks of the front end too.

isn't your car an 89?

I can't wait to do mine that way. I don't like the amber turn signals, and I'm not a big fan of blackouts.

i've got clears on my GTA.
Looks good too, not (insert infamous 'R' word here) by any means.. They are not aftermarket lights though. I removed the red reflectors inside the light, and got candy red tail light bulbs from a local auto perf shop.

I love the way it looks, and that's all that matters.
As far as a place that sells clears for it, I am not too sure for a camaro... Try hitting up pep boys and see if APC sells them, or even going to an import performance shop if any are around you.

And, of course like the other 10089247187 threads like this one, people will start whining and calling rice on it.. but just remember, it's your car, do whatever the F you want to it.

Un4givin89, I absolutely LUV the tailights on your car!!! You spray that red paint on the yellow blinkers? Or did you change the reflectors? Please tell me how, and where I could get this red paint (if thats what you used). Thanks a lot, it looks great.

It a model spray paint.

It is transparent Candy Apple Red, made by Testors.

You can pick it up at any hobby store for about 3 bucks, I think they also sell it at Wal-Mart, so it's not that hard to get...

Looks bad ***, I'm doing it to my car too...

I love the red tail lights, I have never liked the yellow on the back of my car. I even put the "Tailight Fix Tape" over the yellow one time to try to make it red, it worked but it pealed off after I washed it a couple times.

There is a way to make your stock taillights clear also. I believe the cameros dont have the removable red lens like trans ams do. But if tare those taillights apart, and use a heatgun on the inner red part for a few hours the red paint will exually flack off. Eventually it will all be gone, then you can go clean them up and get some red buld, Bam you got clear taillights.
