Powder coating question
I have an Eastwood Powdercoating kit but have been unable to find an oven. My toaster oven will do for small things, but the valve covers won't fit.
Everything I've read says the fumes are not toxic.
I know the directions say a non-food oven, but I am really leaning towards using my electric kitchen oven for this. I thought if I covered the oven surface in aluminum foil and then ran the self-cleaning cycle when I was done, all would be ok.
I can't believe no one has ever tried this, so if you have, please tell me the horror stories.... or hopefully let me know I can do this without poisoning anyone.

red, talk to shane/chevy2ss on my board or ne3g for a little background on powdercoating. I'm sure he can tell you if it will stink up the house or whatever.
It may or may not be poisonous. But would you take that risk with your life or anyone else's in that household? Not me. I'd rather spend a few bucks on a junked out but functional oven and be healthy enough to enjoy the fruits of my labor.
