New bulbs with stock gauges???

I would like to buy the Xenon blue bulbs from MacEwen. They are hyper white with a hint of blue. But, I do not like the white faced inlays with the Camaros. I just like the black.....but with better lighting. Has anyone done this and how does it look? Any pics will help.

Someone posted pics once a while back of the Hyper-whites with the stock black-faced gauges, and it looked excellent. I'll see if I can find them.

I used McEwen's clear xenons with the stock guages in my 85 IROC. The reflective surface of the metal inside bezel cover is blue, so that even the stock blubs provide a slight bluish cast. With the xenons that cast is much brighter. In my estimation, this is what GM should have done at the outset. By the way, you might consider replacing the bulb in the A/C heater control head as well.
