That is the size I used.
I do have my front wheels rubbing the fenderwells when I turn, but others don't seem to have this porblem.
I have 17x9 WS6 wheels with 275/40/17's.

go to www.vettebrakes.com. They are about $150 a pair depending on what sizes you get. If you get iroc wheels you dont need spacers, but you prob allready new that.

i dont know but to me 150 for a pair of spacers seems to be alot of money. 300 just to put a set of 4th gen wheels on seems like alot. just my .02 though.

I got mine from www.skulte.com about the same prices. I used 2.25" in front and I think 1.5" in the rear. I might even have used 2.5" in the front. I scrap also in the front.

you're right $350 is alot of money. But usually you can find the wheels cheap so it all works out. 3rd gens have very limited selection of aftermarket wheels.

Best thing to do is use the money for the rear spacers and get a rearend off of a 4th gen. That is what I and a bunch of others have done.
I even got larger brakes by doing the rearend swap.
Everything but the e-brake cables bolt up.
Nice easy swap, took about 6.5 hours to do my swap.
Dropped the rear off of my brothers 96 T/A, dropped my rear, and then put my brothers rear onto my Trans Am.

Spacer pricing

Well the prices you guys are getting for spacers is really not that bad. They are Billet right? I ended up spending $500.00 on my billet adapters. I went to front wheel drive Niche Serpants. The extra cost came from the fact that I also had to change the lug pattern.

The Rims were discontinued and I could only get my hands on a set with the 4 lug Honda Pattern. Go figure? I had them beef up those 4 lugs to the next size for strength and all is well.
