I finally got outside and washed waxed my 89 iroc today. Do you guys think i should keep the chrysler purple on it or go with something else?

 

it looks good man i think you should keep that color... i always had a thing for purple sport cars

WTF?!!! That black one isnt an IROC! And get rid of those jagged stripes on the white car... gross.

 

What says its not an IROC ? Careful, do research before you blurt out stupid stuff, I suppose next you'll say my car isnt an 86'

 

Judgin from how the car is sittin, theres no engine in it, right? Heh I know cause my GTA has been sittin out front of my house like that for a couple of months now!

 

ChevyLuva: just so you know that is an iroc, and it isn't black. it's purple. the white one is the iroc wannabe. I'm not going to get into a big argument over something ridiculous, i've known the guy who had the car for the last 8 yrs. I swapped the taillights with my 89 RS on which i like the red striping, and put 91z wheels on it, so that's why they don't match.

 

keep the purple, thats the color i painted mine, deep amethyst, looks good.

Ummm why would you put RS lights on an IROC? And why do want to make an IROC wannabe? Let me guess if you had a honda, you'd put fake Type-R stickers on eh? Yet supposedly you have an IROC, and you're making the IROC look like an RS, and making the RS (or whatever) to look like an IROC???? Totally beyond reasoning.

 

Well, he fooled you. See, lets say you pull up at a light next to his IROC, and see the old style RS taillights and no IROC decals. What do you assume? V6, or a TBI.. no problem, you can waste this sucker-right? Wrong. Its an IROC, and you look stupid for losing to an "RS".

OR, maybe because its his car and he likes it that way.

 

Tru pimp... but what if someone else (lets say a *****.. aaahh I said the r word) goes to race the IROC wannabe, and he beats him, that makes the IROC.... ya kno us, look bad, and I'm sure he'll run home tellin everyone he beat an IROC, when it really was some RS.

 

I say leave it purple, but do something about the exhaust pipe. Maybe chrome or clean it up a little.

Does that make our cars slower? lol..I'm with Metalli on this one....he can do whatever he wants with his car. I understand he asked for opinions by posting up picturses and such, but you don't need to classify him as some poser....

 

Who said anything about him being a poser... I just said its retarded to make the IROC look like an RS, and make the RS look like an IROC... waste of time too.

 

chevyluva, it's great that you think that, i don't really care. the iroc is not going to see a lot of street action and it's already got a little bit of body damage so i put the good taillights on my rs and put the cracked ones on it. That's like saying i'm a poser because i put 91-92 grnd effects on my 86 sc. come on, grow up. If someone's going to get bent out of shape by me putting iroc wheels and taillights on a car with 3 RS tags on it, hell at least they'll remember it.
