Yank it out and give it to me and I'll drop my motor in your car, then yours will sound like mine did when I had the motor.

I've got Dynomax Headers, PaceSetter 3" Catback, and a 3" high flow cat. I had a gutted cat with me but the shop wouldn't put it on so I had to buy a new one.
I also have a Crane Cams PowerMax 2050 in the car.

And I have a TPI setup, a lot of people think I have a carb on the car, I guess it's from the sound of the exhaust.

Hey metallicamarors where do you go to school? Do you go to school at lewis university? If so I think you might know my budy who drives that car. As for zephs ride that thing sounds really tough, what kind of rear end gear do you have in your car, and whats your duration and lift on your cam?

I've got a 95 Formula rear end with 3.42 gears.
Crane Cams PowerMax 2050, 272/284 .454/.480 Advertised.

Car is probably in the mid to low 14's as it sits now, stock programming and bad ECM, and a header leak.

I'll fix everything by March and take her out to the track and see what she'll do.

:hail: realllllll nice sound!
I got edelbrock headers, dual catco cats, a 3 inch aluminum intermediate pipe, and a flowmaster 80's series, but it sounds NOTHING like that...

...but just wait till i get my SLP Loudmouth That should change the sound a little bit...
I thought of changin' the cam, but if i'm not mistaken, my roc's got a 350 cam in a 305...so i'm not too sure how much of a difference a more aggresive cam would make....

anyways, real nice, can't wait to see that car finished!
later

We messed with the TPS the day before we shot those clips and it made the car hesitate a little when giving gas. I have to have the TPS set to .95 volts at idle so it doesn't bog. When I put in my new ECM everything should work fine.

Actually, I am not sure what you have to do to put a non-roller cam in a roller motor. I am using an 87 distributor with the gear that came on it and it's working fine.

I am running a stock chip and my car is running great with it, will run even better with a custom one that I'll attempt to start burning soon.

I'd race you. I've never been to any tracks outside of Virginia yet.
I tore up a modded Mustang 5.0 tonight, tore him up 2 times from a stop and the 3rd time he got the jump and was a car ahead of me but I was reeling him in, but then I had to make a left to meet some friends and also to check where all the smoke on the inside of my car was coming from.
I though I had an oil leak from the crank seal on the timing chain cover and changed it today, but I guess the leak is from somewhere else.

Hey Zepher aren't the brake lights suppose to be the outer sockets not the middle two. I thought its was like that, but I could be wrong. I'm actually hooking my TA taillights up now and I need to know for sure where each bulb goes.

The brake lights are supposed to be the inner two on both sides.

I had a 91-92 GTA wing on my car before, traded it for the 4th gen wing I have now. Don't know if I want to put it on or not.
I am favoring the 85-90 Trans Am whale tale spoiler, but it's hard to find one in decent condition and I don't want to spend $400+ on a fiberglass one, I'd rather use that money for the 97 style Ram Air hood.

He used his cousin's Digital Camcorder and put it into 320x240 resolution. I'm getting a digital camera video one soon with 320x240, can't wait to get some videos on here. Takes 200 seconds of video.

That would be why your wrong and I'm right. By the way, I'm not saying it is a stock motor without a muffler. It's obvious from Zepher's sig that is not the case. I'm just saying that's what it sounds like.

Not cutting down zepher but that car sounds like the idle it too low. Zepher you told me that whatever you read called for idle at 450. This is right for a 5-speed car with a stock cam but a higher lift/duration cam will need a higher speed. Hell you can take a peanut cam and set it at 400 and it will sound just as lumpy (I've done it before---don't ask). Just my .02 Guess I've been around drag cars too long. I'm just used to hearing cars that have the idle at 800+ with even lumpier idle characteristics.

About that wing you are selling, do you have closer pics of it, I am interested in it.

The Camera I used is a Canon XL-1 DV Camcorder, it's my brothers, not my cousins.

My car idles at 900-1000, it just idles really low when the motor is cold. The 450rpm idle setting is what is written in the FIS TPI instructions that I have.

The 4th gen wing I have is still in 2 pieces, needs to be glued together and finished.

I can do a short vid for you if you can meet up with me during the day sometime, email me and we can arrange something.
