OK just yesterday I converted my 89 Firebird tail lights to 89 T/A tail lights.. BUT i have concerns..
The turn signal blinks red and with the firebird lights it used to blink yellow. Now, I think I should go back because I think some cop will stop me because my turn signals on the tail lights blink red....please help me..

Ok Found this...
Texas Department of Public Saftly:
Vehicle Inspection
20.29
#3 Turn signal lamp mounting
blah..blah...The lamps showing to the rear shall be mounted on the same level and as widely spaced laterally as practicable and,
when signalling, shall emit a red or amber light or any shade of color between red and amber.
welll, I think I'm convinced.

Manuel, I think you're getting worked up over nothing. The stock turn signals on my '86 T/A are all red, as were the ones on my '79 Safari Wagon, '87 Plymouth Voyager, '91 Plymouth Acclaim, '96 Dodge Caravan, '88 Ford F250, and '98 Chrysler Sebring.
I believe that yellow turn signals are European in origin, and that American cars have traditionally had red turn signals on the rear.
Now, if you have red signal flashers on the front..........
What I don't understand is how people (ricers) don't get busted for those dopey blue turn signals.

yeah this how the turn signals look. Yes, i know I need a paint job and body work. I am in the process of writing an article.too bad no before pics.
