Do GTS Camaro Headlight Blackouts block out a lot of light?
Do they block out a lot of light? I want to get them for my 92 RS. I got the tail light blackouts and they don't block out a lot of light, but still look excellent. Now for the front, will I get in trouble a lot with them on or do I not want to get them. I have foglights to help give me light. I just want to get rid of the stupid headlight pockets. Thanks guys.

After using GTO blackouts on my parents durango we noticed alot of light loss... And it is a truck, so it would be awesome to have more light...
We lost about 30-40% of the light..
I would suppose its the same for a camaro.... unless you have really powerful lights, better then stock.

You'd probably lose more light on a Camaro since the light wouldn't be right against the cover. My friend had them on his monte ss and he lost so much light he had to drive with his brights on.

I took mine off when I drove at night because the lighting was so restricted.

Huh, someone should invent some blackouts that automaticly lower them self off of the lens when it gets dark. Think about it. Thats very possible. Any one want to steal my idea invent it and sell me some??
