4th gen WHEELS & TIRES what you think.

Thanks for all your help so far. If finally made a desion on my wheels and tires. I'm going to get ZR1 chrome wheels 17x9, with 275-40/17. Spacers will be FRONT: 2.25 REAR:1.25. Does anybody see any problems or will it work. Alot of people have done this combo with good results. One other question, With this combo will the wheels stick out evenly, or will the front or back stick out farther than the other.

you plan on putting GFXs on that naked bottom firebird. I wanted those taillights but all I could find at the junkyards was the right side only, pissed me off. But now I got 87 TA lens which look good too.

Its a formula, no GFX is kind of the point.

Spacers ...

What do those spacers run? I want the 4th gen 5spoke rims for my Formula (those exact ones). I came across a set with rubber for $300. I Dont think i can pass that up.

Can anyone photo shop them onto my car?

Here's mine:

Hay KZad,
if you post the pics or email them to me i can photoshop them. I will need a side pic of your car and a side pic of the wheels you want. This is a pic of my car with the ZR1 wheels photoshoped.

I thought I heard of a few guys on the group running with the 2" spacers all the way around. Which is the proper set up? I just bought a set of 17x9 ZR-1 wheels for my coupe.

Thanks!!

I was talkling to www.skulte.com and he said 2" all around, (unless you are putting 17x11 in the rear). So I'm going to change to 2" for all.

I was running 2-1/4" all around on my car, had a very aggressive stance.

Now that I put the 4th gen rear on the car, the back wheels are tucked a little into the well and don't stick out as much.
