I'm trying to decide what to do with my tires and wheels. I am stuck with the gold 15" rims that were on the car when I bought it. The guy who had it before crashed it and broke the 16" stock wheels. Anyway, I repainted the car black last summer and did not put the IROC decals back on. I was thinking of painting the wheels black(chrome lug nuts and center cap) and putting some Goodyear Eagle #1's with the raised gold/yellow letters on them. Bad *** or not?

If you do that you have to have yellow some where else. Like get custom IROC letters in yellow

 

At the local GM dealership, the service writer has a DE Monte Carlo with black rims and the yellow lettered Goodyears and it looked GOOD! They were a decent size too, not sure exactly, but not skinny!
