last night with all the wind that we had while i was at work a cart nailed the side of my car and totaled my door i got a 1 inch deep gash that is about a foot long. I am so furious right now because of this.

That sucks. That's why I park far out, cause most people are too lazy to walk the extra 100 ft.

Wow man I'm really sorry to hear about what happened to your car. It makes me mad to think about how much I baby my car and worry about its appearance and there are people out there who who don't give a damn, are lazy and cause other peoples misfortune not to mention how much it will cost you to get it fixed.

I got hit last week. Someone let their cart roll down a hill to the far end of the lot and hit my front fender. Left a nice dent too.

***Note to self:

When going places with shopping carts, take 1 of 2 actions:

1. Park in back of lot, and built fort of upside down carts around car.

2. Use fiance's honda civic and don't worry what happens.

That sucks man... I always park as far as I can. Walking an extra 100 yards or so is no big deal to me. But when I park far, I also make sure theres no carts around. Because after all, what use is parking far if you park far and right next to a bunch of carts?

Man that sucks! It reminds me of that Volkswagen (I think) commercial, where ya see the cart rollin towards the car, and the guy comes flyin and tackles the cart. Thats the kinda attitude we all seem to have!

That same thing happened to me, sort of. I was doing security on ThanxGiving One year at Wal-Mart. My boss's battery went dead and he bought a battery. My car was parked right by the doors. As he took the battery out the cart slowly started rolling, and I wasn't by the car I started running, and thought of that commercial. I didn't dive though, pavement hurts, the cart hit the car but barely, plus they're made of plastic now, he was like sorry. I was still a little mad.
