T/A Tail lights

I'll try to attach a picture. Would it be easier to get a stencil and repaint the Pontiac or buff it out ? On '92 T/A Thanks

The easiest solution would be to sell those lights to me, and not worry about it

Just teasin, i LOVE those lights, and want some in a bad way.

As for what to do with them, it depends on what youre after. My car is no where near stock, and never will be again. As im going for a more personal look, id be more inclined to take the rest of the writing off.

If you really want to keep the factory original look, however, id attempt to either repaint it (id investigate first IF you can paint on that plastic, what kid of paitn to use, and if it will screw up the lenses, cuz theyre pricey) and if not get some very high quality lettering done somewhere. I dont know how well vinyl lettering would look or last, ive seen a few shops do stripes and things, and they looked horrible. BUt for a few letters, maybe a flat (non glossy) vinly lettering would work.

When I got my car all of the paint was already worn off. I found a small local custom paint shop to repaint mine perfectly for only $45.....

If you haven't I would check with the GM Dealer. Although discontinued for some years, it is often available aftermarket. The emblem was only 14 bucks from the dealer for the 86 to 90 models yours might still be available.

If not also check Phoenix Graphix. They advertise "any graphic - any year".
