Super bright rear red lights
Super bright rear red lights
I have smoke taillight covers and wanted to get the L.E.D. super bright bulbs. They are the same kind you would use if your taillights were all white (no red at all). Would you be able to see the lights any better throught the taillight covers with them in. I think they are like $10 for 2 bulbs.

Keep the receipt.
You will be taking them back real quick.
Not even as bright as the stock ones
exert from my web page:
"I experimented with LED taillight bulbs for a while and that turned out to be a big waste of time. For those of you thinking to put those 1157 LED bulb conversions in don't bother. The lights turn out to be way to dim and just plain look stupid. I had a set of 1157 that were suppose to be twice as bright but they cost around 10 bucks each. After buying two for the front signal light one crapped out on the second day. I went back to get some more and they were all gone. I checked out their web site and on there they wanted 20 smackers for a a bulb, no thanks.
A cheaper alternative is to use 2357 bulbs. They are the same brightness in normal mode but 8
lumens brighter when the other element comes on. There life is a bit shorter but should be
good for around a year of normal driving. The cost is roughly the same as an 1157."
