Got some clear lenses for the turns signals in the fenders. I opened them up and put about 9 amber LEDs in there. They're all transparent so you cant even tell there's anything in the light! I really hate seeing the orange bulb inside these clear lenses. Ruins the whole look. The LEDs look trick and high tech when on

 

i got the same clear signal covers and have hyper white bulbs inside and it puts out a bright blueish color, looks really nice

 

Wouldnt't that be illegal ?

I suppose... but you cant really see anyting but the clears. I'm sure you know what they look like by now...

 

are these from procarparts.com or somewhere else??? are you happy with the overall appearance and quality.......?

Yes. Procarparts... The design is actually better then the stock ones. They look very good. I can't say I dont like anything about em. For the money, they're definetly worth it!

 

yeah ive got to say, these signals are the sh*t. the install was easy (obviously) and for 40 bucks they shipped in two days and made a huge difference in the look of my freshly painted car. see, i have a broken yellow light and the other light didnt have a bulb in it, once i got the signal covers i switched the bulbs as well and viola! ill take pictures of it at night someone. as far as being legal, i wouldnt think its illegal to have clear sidemarkers, the new jetta's come with clear ones from the factory, plus my 87 t bird has them stock as well.

Where did you get the amber LED lights. I got my makers from pro car parts also. Can I get lights there too, How much??

 

I'm talking about the blue bulbs inside them being illegal...
