Not enough room for 9.5's. Unless you get spacers which are pretty exspensive from what I hear.

As far as the guy recommending 8, well my stock IROC rims are 16 x 8's, so... 17 x 9.5 is not the norm. A 255 tire will fit on those rims with no rubbing.

lots of people have put 17x9.5 with no problem. It needs 5.5" of backspacing. As for those Timelss 5, i saw some 17s on an S-10 and I was extremely disapointed. The Timess 6 on the boyd website are around 20" which makes them look way better than the 17s really are.

You can get 9.5's to work without spacers. You just have to do some searching and find ones with the right offsets and or backspacing. I know that ROH makes some that will fit all corners of 3rd gens. I can't remember all the backspacing requirements so you'll have to do some reaserch if someone else doesn't reply with some.

Alright I was thinking of a Camaro wheel ( 4th gen or something like that), but I personally dont like the deep dished looking wheels. At least not on a 3rd gen. Save them for older muscle cars IMHO.

these are my new favorite wheels. They're FWD offset (I think) and 5x4.5" bolt cicle. I just started researching them on www.google.com the other day
