I am referencing TTII's for the first questing witht eh 17X9.5. Is that right backspacing for the 17X9.5? THe second is for Boyd Coddington Stingrays 17X11 backspacing. I tried getting an answer from Jeff@Sportruck.com where they sell those rims and can't get a straight answer. Does anyone know the back spacing for a 17X11 rim in the rear? And if any modifications would have to be made to the wheel well? I never thaught I would be torn between 2 rims like this.

Just a little FYI,
I know a lot of people have 5.5" bs up front. I have 5.25" simply because it is very tight fit between the rim lip and the tierod. Actually I think mine would've scraped the inner rim lip if I had 5.5" bs, because I don't think there is even a 1/4" clearing between the tierod and the rim.
I just heard about someone else who got a balance weight knocked off by the tierod with 5.5". However, I assume most people don't have the weights that clamps to the rim lip when using alu. wheels - but that shows how tight the fit is with 5.5"

Oh, and I dunno first hand about the backspacing for the 11", but last I heard was 7" - but get that confirmed by someone with 11's.

Just my $.02

ChevyKen Thanks for the info. Do you have any problems with the tires rubbing at all in the front?

I have the exact same rubbing that I had with the stock 16" IROCs w/ 245/50's. It rubs at full turn when in reverse. While driving there's no rubbing on mine...

I got 5.5 backspacing in the front and rear. I have had no problems with rubbing at all. I have 275/40/17 in the rear and front also, I know some people put 285 in the rear that might be where the problem lies.

Also I have the Stick on balancing weights..
