Price for third gen?
Price for third gen?
I on't know if this is the right forum for this ad, but i was wondering what people are selling camaro's for with-out motors? I have a 89Rs that someone converted to a iroc. I pulled the motor and tranny out and the dash cluster. I am wanting to sell it cheap.. t-top car and they don't leak. I am trying to figure out a fair price. Can you guys help me out? here are 2 pics of it. by the way, the fiberglass hood isn't going either.
That is a side pipe, we won't talk about that. 3in side pipes are a bad idea. I won't ever try that again!! I was thinking in the $700-$900 range for the price. i just wanted to get a ballpark on what you guys thought. I couldn't sell it for 3g's and sleep at night.

Find one of those rich people that spend 3 grand on a one peice of clothing at Neiman Marcus. These are the people that you want to look for. "the dumb rich folk" hehe
>well 3gs that does sound kinda high maybe 2gs

redbird_400, yeah there's plenty of those kind of people around. People do some ridiculous things. I just need to sel the car quickly to make room for my other cars. In my driveway i have 2 89 camaros, 69 chevelle, 98 lumina, 94 toyota corolla, and a 01 grand prix. It's really crowded!!
lumina for an engine..hehe ought to. I am putting the 327 into my other 89 and am building a 434 smallblock for the chevelle. I just got the block done about 1week ago and ordered the roating assembly yesterday.
I should post some pictures of the sidepipes after i took them off the car. My welds held up, but the rest of the pipe didn't do too good. there were a couple holes, some crushed areas, some pieces of pipe torn off. it was ugly. I thought they kept getting louder
by the way there was no mufflers either. just straight 3in out.

Thats has to be loud! Hey do you have a pic of the Chevelle? I'm looking at a model of a 73 here on my desk at work. Its even got spark plug wires
No, i don't have any shots of the front yet. It's at my friend's house right now. I was out "testing" the motor that was in it, when it decided to junk a u-joint. I am building a motor for it, so i went out and had some fun burning the tires off!
i paid 2000 for mine....the car had no tarnny, drive shaft, or motor...well in it...it had the stuff. but the engine didnt have heads so i just bought a rebuilt 327 and got rid of the other blockpretty good deal if u ask me...the body has almost no rust at all..a very small amount on the under carriage. the 4" harwood (i believe) hood, the tranny, driveshaft, rims, tires, rear winginerior is a little rough.but still

Thats the way to go. This way you get to pick your own motor. Oh yeah I paid 900 for my bird with a engine. The engine was shot. Me my dad and my Bro did everything we could to get it running but it would only run for 3 seconds the die. Then I wouldn't even do anything except turn over with the starter. Well a while down the road I found a wrecked Camaro for sale for about $500.00. The engine was good so we swaped them. Yeah It took me about 2 Grand to get my ride on the road. And thats just the Begining!

Yup, I got my bird for 500 bucks with a blown motor. I'd say you could get 1000 for your camaro. Thats the way to go, build it how you like it.

If thats all you want... Well If you had the time I would go for a higher price.
I paid $200 for my camaro with a blown motor. Biggest mistake redoing a 6 cylinder, but if i had any more power learning to drive, id be dead. I paid $250 for my trans am, as the guy wanted it off his lawn and it didnt run. A $30 timing chain and 3 hours fixed that problem. But then again, me and my father redid the body and that was a lot of hours of labor, but well worth it.
