just got the 3.5" fiberglass hood i ordered and it bolted on and lined up pretty good (well, as good as an unpainted 'glass hood will fit), but it WONT CLOSE!! it hits the dual airfilter lid on my 89 iroc. its got about 2" more to travel before it site flush, but it wont go any further due to the dual air filter inlet!! anyone have this problem?? what did u do?? help!

did u try raising the actual latch that is on the car itself...not the hood latch what it hooks up with. there is a bolt if u dont know and u can raise and lower it.
