Can you remove then reuse tint?

I've got a '91 RS, and it looks like the tint in the rear hatch is part of the defrost. Does that make sense, it looks like the tint is underneath the defrost wire mount point on the side. Anyway, the problem is that there are many little bubbles and in general it looks like a moron home job. So, if the defrost is part of the tint, can I take it off, and then put it back on and work the bubbles out? Or maybe I'm hallucinating and someone tinted over the defroster.

It is very doubtful that it is under the defroster lines.

Take another look. If not, just yank the tint off.

As far as re-using it. I would say no. It's not worth the hasstle.
Get some new stuff, or have a shop do it for ya...

Thanks all, upon closer examination, it has to be over and it's in strips. So, I'magwonna rip it off and then decide what to do about tinting.
