Body Flex........????
How do you tell when the car is not worth sinking money into because of too much body flex? Or is there a way to tell besides when the car breaks in two? Is the car still worth it even if it's been bottomed out alot? Well I think those are all the questions I have. Thanks for your time.

Our cars have flexed since the day they were made. They all do it, it's a unibody thing. To stiffen the chassis and reduce/stop the flex get a set of sub frame connectors. The link at the top of this page for Spohn will show you what they are.
I'm getting a set of the Spohn SFCs this year.

I know how to stop it I'm just wondering if theres a way to tell when it's not worth stoping. As in the body is dead and it's time for a new car.
Easiest visual way to tell is where the corner of the door meets with the roof, if this is cracking then there is a lot of flex. My 84 Z28 had little cracks when I bought it, it just had a ZZ4 crate motor swapped in with new heads and everything, noticed the cracks getting bigger and bigger in time. The other way is to run it by a body shop and check it out, my friend did that to his 88 GTA and they checked out the whole car for like 20 bucks, gave him some useful info on the passenger side being hit pretty bad, you couldnt tell by looking at it. good luck

Get them anyway and prevent it before it happens. They could pretty much all use them.
