T-5 shifter to hurst?
I have a friend that is getting a new shifter in his 98 T/A and he is going to give me his stock hurst shifter. Has anyone bolted one of these on to a thirdgen? How hard is it to do? Also, where can I find a short throw? Thanks if anyone can help!! Eric

ummm, i doubt that the shifter from a 98+ t56 will work in a thirdgen. but i haven't tried it, so maybe you can prove me wrong.

You'll need a shifter for a T5. Any of the 3 good aftermarket shifters (Hurst, Pro-5 or Ripper Shifter) will work great and improve the shift feel dramatically. That hand-me-down won't work for the tranny you have.
