I have hood louvers for my 86 Z...most of the mounting studs are broken off. I'm just wondering if anyone knows any way to repair them. The parts stores and GM dealer around here says they can't be repaired. It's just a 7/16 nut...there should be something!

Why not just go to the junkyard?

I can think of a couple ways to do it, but I don't think any of them will last long, so I am not going to even recommend it.

The easiest thing would be find some and yank off off a junker.
