To answer your question, im sure it could happen, i saw a 3rd gen with the whole 4th gen dash and all but i dont know if just the pod could go in without to much work, im sure if you really wanted to you could fabricate somthing.

But why?? lol

y would u need the complete gauges? and what do u need the calibration box for?? for the v8 swap, all u would need is the tach from a v8.. although the 145 speedo would be nice too tho..

I told him he may need a calibration box for the speedometer cause i believe the LT1/4L60E that he will be using has a different pulse sender.

i learn something new everytime i come to this site.. i thought the speed sensor on 4th gens was on one of the front wheels and was the same on both v6 and v8, auto and manual.. but i could be very wrong on that..

Loom i believe you're thinking of the exciter rings for the ABS system, 1stgen: i tried fitting my 94' gauge panel into a 90-92 dash before i sold it, its too big, would take far too much work, if anything get some nice autometers, and fab a panel to fit them.

Now you're getting a LT1? what happened to the TPI you were getting from the 3rd Gen? What happened to the LS6 you were getting? You change your mind more than my fiance. Hey what will it be next week? A rocker booster attached to your V6? I thought you were getting a body kit, what happened to the stroker you were talking about? I'm sorry, I don't usually flame, but everytime I read one of your posts I start laughing. People at work look at me funny! look at the previos post about a tv in the car. Agghh, I'm not even gonna get started. Have a nice day.

actually, it was a LS1, not an LS6 ***. ANd also, your just a little *****, because i have money and i am going to do things to my car, u dont have to flame. I always change my mind, but i have alreayd ordered parts for the LT1 swap so that is what i am going to do,there was to much involved the the ls1 swap, and the evoluzion is a waste of money, so if your dont have anything to contribute to this thread, shut up, you dont help it any, all u do is act like an ***. O, any shows how much u look at my stuff, when did i ever talk about a strokerNEVER, u find somewhere wher ei talked about getting a stroker and then i will shut up, but u wont, i have never talked about getting one, your just a little b*tch

Just a thought.

And if I remember correctly it was an LS6 before the LS1, but yes, I could be wrong.

I get bored at work... this vbulletin system is very nice. Only takes a few minutes to find something on search or through members profiles. One nice thing would be if you could click on "see all users posts" and instead of doing individual replies and listing the same thread over and over, to just showing a list of all subscribed threads for that person. Since people usually post mulitple times to the same thread. I like the see all post feature cause I can read through a members posts that has something specific to there car that they might post to multiple threads that could help me in research for my car projects.

Yo dude I saw this and I decided to save it, it obviously can be done! But why go for the 93-96 Panel, I like the 97-up ones so much better, they aren't cheap, I am assuming u want the dash that came with an LT1, which would be 93-96 or 95, i dunno which it is, but i hate the early fourthgen dash, well now that you've listened to my complain about it, heres' your pic, i believe this is a 92 camaro with a newer fourthgen dash in it:

I dont mind that interior its pretty cool, how much that cost you. I bet at least $1000. First I got other things to worry about! Like my college payments, my new car payment for my second firebird and insurance. SO right now I'm straped for cash, I make good money using my S10 to deliver pizzas but hell I go to school too. Hopefully one day I will finish modding both my cars, my V6 upgaded to a ZZ4 or a 3.4L w/ NOS and a turbo of some sort. And like a Turbo or a ZZ4 for my formula with all the goodies. But for now its my school, so eventually I can get all the goodies plus a vette after I graduate from college.

Yes that it is really a thridgen. I can't remember who is was. I think his name was Kristian from the Netherlands. He was one of the first people to do the swap. I know there is some more specific info in older posts.

Just from that pic, the outside door handle and the sideview mirrors give away that its a thirdgen, plus do a search and you'll find some more info
