4th Gen manual console in 3rd gen w/T56

I have seen many how to - s. for 4th gen auto consoles in 3rd gens. but has anyone done a manual console conversion.

Not that it matters but I have a T-56 and it barely fits in the old falling apart 3rd gen console.

Also, if anyone has done this, where did they put the electric window switchs?

anybody

they put the power window switch on the doorpad, and if you wont be bothered by putting them there im mount em in the plastic trim where the power locks button is. Just my opinion

the manual console is what they use for the automatics... the 4th gen auto console doens't fit exactly right so they use the manual ones... just mount the window switches in the ash tray or somethin like that

I am only saying this because someone will- search the boards- That said, I put a 98 6 speed console in mine and it literally was a direct bolt in. When I put mine in, the only pics I could find were of manual trans consoles. I put my switches in a plate I made in the ashtray. grnprx(I think I spelled that right) has pics posted.
