Air Flow Blockage?

IF YOU LOOK DOWN THRU THE HOLES WHERE THE AIR FILTERS SIT ON AN IROC YOU WILL SEE A BLACK PLASTIC SHEET/COWL (ABOUT 6 INCHES DOWN FROM THE TOP OF THE RADIATOR)....WILL THERE BE A COOLING PROBLEM IF THIS IS REMOVED? I WOULD THINK MORE AIR WOULD BE FLOWING INTO THE AIR FILTERS IF THIS WERE REMOVED

THANKS

no problem at all

I cut all my air boxes out and made it so when u take the filters off you can see the ground. I have had no over heating problem or anything and I noticed I pull more at higher RPMS. I run at about 185-190 and I live in Florida. So I would cut the air boxes out. There is a tech article check it out.
