Tires rub on hard turning

Engine: 5.0 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Tires rub on hard turning
I recently put a set of 91-92 16" Z28 wheels on my 86 Sport Coupe. When I turn hard, such as when parking, I can hear the tires rubbing. Anyone else have this problem? Solutions? I was thinking perhaps the car needs an alignment. Someone else sugested 1/4" spacers.

my tires gently rub the front of the plastic inner fender when in reverse. I am using the stock tire size. 245/50R16
