I have a Autometer 5" monster tach w/shift light is it possable to mount it where the factory tach is? If anyone has done this please post some pics.....and what you had to do to get it in there.

i saw a guy on here that a whole autometer set up in the stock locations. water, oil, volt, speedo and tach. but i think he had to make his own sheet metal cover for them. he had pics and it looks sweet. dont remember his name maybe someone else will.

 

The subject was posted before and it is still on this page!! But it was on a Camero. Shouldn't be to different. Ayway the guys name is johnsjj2 He redid he whole dash. Besides why would you just want to replace the tach? If you are going through that much trouble to remove the dash, why not just do everything?
