it attaches to the rear hatch. There's supposed to be two slots that the pegs ( or buttons or whatever you want to call them) on the handle slide into.
that way when you open your hatch, the shade moves up with it, and you don't have to mess with it.

i purchased the sunshade from ebay, and my car does have the mounts to mount it by the seat...where would i get mount for this besides the junkyard?? the yards around here suck...no camaros anywhere...

Open your hatch. Look up. See the plastic piece going across the underside? The slots should be in the middle of that. If not, here's what you do. Take that piece off, and look on the other side of it. The places where the slots go may be marked, you just have to cut them out.
i just went outside and looked, there is not provision for the shade to attach to...is there some kind of replacement that i could buy??? so my shade would work like its supposed to?? or a picture of them so i could modify it myself??

unfortunately its a little more than just cutting holes in the hatch piece, I actually had to get the piece from the car because there is a metal reinforcement.

the car I took my shade from was a different color interior, so I drilled out the metal bracket and used the original piece as a template.
