Overhead Console Map Light Problem

I have done searches, ckd faq, tech articles, I know I have seen this on here before - how do I clean the map light contacts (what to use, etc) I recently installed the console and of course the map light doesnt work, Im pretty sure it is just because its corroded a bit. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

You might try a contact cleaner from Radio Shack, which I use on my stereo equipment (though I wouldn't be surprised if WD-40 wouldn't do the trick).

Yup, a pink eraser will do it.
