Tell me what you think of this.

Alright, this is only the first drafts of the whole project, so I could get an idea of how it would look. That means ignore the bends and crappy paint job. I also plan on getting some black screws, if i can find the right kind.

Other than that, tell me what you think.

Your pictures won't load, guy! If it's a dash mod, I'd be interested in seeing it. I'm in the process of fabricating something myself, always interested in seeing custom dashes!

I think it looks good, are you going to cover all of the plastic?

the rest of the interior plastic will be painted to match, or some yellow effects will be painted on them...i am unsure exactly.

Basically what i was trying to do was create a small contrast look with this for now, and because i have removed the rear seats, i needed to fix that. i thought this would be a good way to start off my custom interior.

I removed my back seats also, never have any need for them. I like your custom idea, i was just going to replace my grey ones with black ones if I can find some i'm also replacing the grey carpet with black and wanted to go with a black and red interior like the mod red interior on the Z06's. If I can't find any I was thinking of either painting them black or getting them apolstered in leather, although the more I think about it the leather might end up looking cheesy and be a dissapointment.

I like the ones with the Birds on them... looks real nice. The one on the dash I'm not sure I like or dislike.

Yes, I thought about doing that too, the leather and such, but then i decided racing seats would look much more stylish, exp. with 5 pt harnesses to secure you and a passenger in, hehe. So, after i made that determination, i was like, hmmm, customize the whole freaking interior..why not.

MetalliCamaroRS

its ironic how things happen. I feel the same way as you. I started this project to make the dash mod, but then the rear screamed at me, and so i made those. The dash i feel is missing something though, and i was hoping people here might have some suggestions as to what i need to add to it. I know i need a thicker metal for the dash, because it is quite wavey and looks horrid. Oh well, we learn by experience.

What are the panels in the back made of? and did you paint the firebird on there or is it a vinil sticker?

Yep, I like the bird panels, but not the dash stuff. maybe without the tuned port plaque. The bird panels are pretty sweet though.

P.S. I know mine is a camaro and yours is a firebird.

And here I thought you ripped the sail panel sheet metal off of another bird and trimmed them to fit.

I like the TPI plaque on the dash. That's actually a pretty good idea.

LOL

The TPI dash job, it has actually grown on me, i now cannot think of another thing i would want there, i just need to get some thicker metal so it wont bow like it did, that was disappointing.
