Thinking Maaco? Try this instead!

IF you can bear to let go of your car for 2 months... Take it to Vo-tech body school. Pay for great paint ($800), and they will do about the BEST blinking job you'll ever see, custom detailing as well! The instructors certify all of their work, and it all looks PERFECT... They just go REAL slow. I know many people who work at the local one, and everyting is certified by professionals, and they have great equipment. Just real slow...

It's way better than taking it to Maaco, and they'll do great body work as well, if you provide the replacement body parts. No charge on the labor, just a small one for the final certification, and the parts/paint.

A really good deal!

Check your local public school district main office, they'll have the location and contact information. Each state/city is different.

I know, I know... But the work is worth it... really. I mean, a 3k paint job for what, 700-800? I'm doing it this winter, when the car really wouldn't be all that drivable.

At first I was like "Two months!?" but that winter idea is a good one. If we get a rough winter this year, I'll definitely check that out since it'd certainly be better than letting my car stay outside (I don't have a garage... yet). I'm not sure I can wait until winter, though... my paint is pretty trashed!

I'm getting my car painted this winter. I hope that place is somewhere near me. I can only afford Maaco, but I don't really want to go there.

I know that here in Colorado, we have many days where I could drive it... But, we also havve random storms that come chargin in (like the one in late May this year) and dump a bunch of snow on us (Snow, in MAY??). I'd rather not get stuck, unable to leave someplace, from the snow, so it would be garaged all winter anyway. Instead of my house, I'll garage it at Vo-Tech, and get a paint job too!

IF you guys live in california there is a better solution that will only take one week and cost you $450 and it comes with a two year warranty. ITs called ONE DAY AUTO BODY it has many california locations i just got my car back and i am very happy with it. If you want the 450 deal go on there website and print the coupon. its good stuff.
