article on drifting in car n driver

I saw an article in the new car n driver on drifting. It had a white 3rd gen and a maroon one. It took place in Hawaii. I was wondering if it was REVLIMIT and Crazy Hawian. It was a pretty cool article.

REVLIMIT,

Post a good pic of your car. I have never seen a close up of your hood or front end. From the pic in csr n driver it looks as you had a wreck on the drivers side

Cool stuff! REVLIMIT! congrats on getting in a magazine.

I hail from Hilo on the big island myself, or I did anyway.

Don't let anyone bring you down man, some people love stock and only stock, just because they are so scared of being associated with the "*****" crowd or whatever.

I myself love the stock look of my 86 IROC w/ T-tops. Some people hate t-tops, some hate the third brake light, etc... Something tells me these people who can't be quiet when they don't like something are about 16 years old, give or
take...

REVLIMIT
this is not a flame, and please don't take it that way.......
wtf happend to your front end??? Is it supposed to look like that??? looks like it is all trashed.......
even though i don't like what you did to the car and i cringe when i see that wing, it does look better than the red and black ***** maro.
hey to each his own.....even though most of the people here prefer the "stock" look....everyone has the right to do what they want to their car.
buy the way i looked in car and driver and i saw the article on drifting i didn't see your car...or did I?
biker

btw if you are going to be sporting that type of style you need some other type of rims......

The front end bumper I bought from my freind for $40. He crashed it which is the reason he wanted to sell it. I'm gonna be fixing it soon. As for the rims Im gonna be getting new rims soon but for now I'm living with the IROC's

Car: too many ...
We went again this past weekend (July 13). There was an australian video crew along with 10+ other people recording footage. My friend recorded a few runs ... I'm getting it converted to mpeg format so you guys can watch. I thought it was a pretty funny article but I really wish they talked more about drifting (where it came from, what it is etc) instead of how the editor felt when we were giving him rides. And I thought the label 'Car Surfing' was kinda tacky .... but hey its cool.

The pics you saw of Revlimit were from when he still had the SMASH and his front was still the stock lip (with cutouts). My car still looks the same (ghetto) but I'll be modding it pretty soon here.

Hey, is that hood purchased or did you fab that? The reverse scoop is pretty sweet, not to mention I assume it not only lets heat out since it looks like it opens to behind the radiatior, but it helps keep air pressure from building under the hood at high speeds. Since the air from at least part of the radiator is actually going somewhere, ya know?
