Home paint booths

I didn't see much about this when doing a search so I thought I would just ask. Who out there built their own spray booth? What are the major considerations? Ventilation, width, height, moisture remover for air compressor etc. What did you do for lighting? What about heat lamps? I've got room to build one and I want to avoid the big gotchas the first time around. Thanks for the input. Some pictures would be great.

Sorry no pictures.
I hung a 10x20 tarp over the spot for the roof then the side with the same and had an industrial fan sucking out from the back of the car.
I used my friends 70 gallon compressor and a gravity feed gun and that was about it.
no heat lamps were used.
This was for my uncles truck which is a '73 D100 which is the same model as my truck.
I haven't gotten to painting my firebird.
Here's some pics.
He put his truck up on www.gr8ride.com in the mopar muscle featured car section.

Glen, I work for a company off Fulton Industrial near Six Flags that makes paint booths. I manage all the projects going on in the tech center here. If you want to take a look at some of our booths and get some ideas, or even maybe want to use one during an evening or weekend, email me.

Hey LT1guy,
Thanks for the offer. I appreciate that. I might come out and look just to get an idea of what I can do. At this moment I'm leaning towards using tarp to section off a corner of my workshop, put a fan in the wall, and get plenty of lighting. I don't think I am going to plop the money down for a real wall and door at this point.

Thanks,

Glen

They make filters for the spray guns so that the moister doesn't get through. I would also put a good filter in place of a window or something like that so that you can try to control the incoming air, and make it clean. If you are careful, you can aslo put some water on the floor so that the dust on it doesn't get kicked up from the hose. Good luck.
