Won't work as a direct swap (or even semi-direct) and I'd doubt anyone would go through the trouble of trying it (except in photoshop maybe).
It would be easier to bolt a 'bird bumper on a camaro....

Clip the rear of your firebird

Slam together a Firemaro! One of a kind!!

Maybe I wasn't clear about what I was saying... it is not a direct swap and I doubt it would be worth the time or effort to do.... sorry if I come across as an **** about it but you're not going to find any pictures of someone having done this because it's simply not worth the trouble unless it's done using photoshop or crossbreeding cars (i.e. a camaro a$$ with a bird front clip & rear bumper).
Even then, I'd question the bird rear bumper bolting up to a camaro because firebirds are rougly 1" wider per side than a camaro in the hind quarters.

It would be TONS easier and faster to swap out the front end. Put a Firebird dog house on a Camaro, then change the spoiler...

The only give away would be the sail panels, Firebird has more of a highlight line behind the door than the camaro...

Slap a set of Oldsmobile Emblems on it, get a Olds Steering wheel and say it was a concept car...

I could of sworn I've seen a car like that on here or a couple of them actually a few months back....it was either a camaro with a firebird back end or vice versa. Although I agree that its too much trouble to do that kind of mod.

this may seem a little far fetched and i doubt anyone will do it unless you dont have anything better to do for a few months.... body sectioning may be an idea.....use a camaro front and a firebird rear, but this would only work if the camaro and bird centers matched up and whatnot.:lala:

DeadBird, I caught the "Slow P.O.S." on the camaro license plate......

I agree that would be too time consuming to deal with, or be worth it.......

Blech.

I have enough trouble getting people to stop calling my Formula a "Camaro"

WHAT Calling your Formula a Camaro??? sheesh, thats almost as bad as calling it a Corvette... not quite... I hate it when people say things in ignorance.

Its like the guy with a Gran National that went to a car show and the JUDGE said "Nice Monte Carlo" I would have gone OFF!!!

Some people are morons.

Yep, I've had my Formula called Camaro, Trans Am (not that that offends me.. :-D ), etc.

Though my little 6 yr. old brother rode in the car when I picked him up from school the other day (I just recently got my car back) and he said in his little voice "wow, this is like a Corvette!".

Kids say the darndest things.
