I've been looking for a new top for my 91 Z28. The dimensions of my top measure 50.5" in across top 1"in in front of rear curve at windows and 42" in at the lower border of the rear plastic window.

Evidently, these are the dimensions used for the 88-89 convertibles. For years 90-93, the dimensions were 51.5"in across the top and 45" in at the rear window.

I don't understand why the dimensions of my top do NOT match with the dimensions they are supposed to be.

And, I wonder if the top for a 90-93 camaro would fit my convertable frame.

It would not be a problem to just order the top with the same dimensions I have now, but surely you can see why I have a problem ordering a top for my car that is only supposed to fit an 88 or 89.

And just so we are on the same page, I have an original ASC sticker on the door jam, and I have the original window sticker which states my car is a "1991 Camaro Z28 Convertible".


Please help me be less confused.
