Panel Dye

Has anyone dyed there panels? I was wondering if its easy to scratch? Mine is faded enough that I would like to dye them the same color.

Panles as in all the plastic around the hatch, and back seat, etc, all the Panles

I've tried several kinds of vinyl dye, or paint, and several different "prep" products. None have been 100% satisfactory, the dash itself and console hold paint well, the softer plastic side & rear panels don't.

i tryed to paint my rear hatch panels .. they were orange before i painted them black ...... well putting the panels in big chunks of paint started to come off if you touch it , it peels off.
