Climate Control **** Question

In my climate Controls panel, ya know how the fan **** has increments, its not actually a free spinning ****.

well all settings work except the highest, when I turn it to that, the fan is off. Is the fan or something up there bad, or could it just be the controls?

Well you could do a search....

But I think I can answer this one.
I had the same thing happen in my 88 Bird.
I replaced the HVAC unit, and bam...
Problem fixed.

I'm pretty sure it's just your unit.....

That may not be the solution. I did that in my Sport Coupe, still the fan did not work on high.

There is a RELAY (realy??)located on or near the engine side of the blower motor assembly. The highest position on the fan is controlled by said relay. The wiring diagram in the Chilton's manual should show you the correct wire color combination for the relay.

I really wish there was a spell check on the bb.

Well I replaced my relay atthe same time.

So you might want to check that too...
