air-dam question
air-dam question
I have an 86 sport coupe camaro that does not have ground effects, but I recently put on the front and rear bumpers and side skirts from an 85 IROC so now the car has the ground effects. My old air dam was attached to a long plastic piece that covered up the underside of the front bumper but that piece no longer fits with the new bumper and ground effects. So my question is do the cars with ground effects still have that big long plastic piece attached to the air dam or is there just an air dam there?
Sorry my explination isnt that great, but thanks in advance

That does help unless camaros are different I just needed to know if the air dam was bolted directly to the car or if this long plastic piece was under the air dam also.
Thanks a lot

you mean the mostly flat skinny black plastic piece ?
if so then thats the air damn itself. bolts ot bottom of rad support

The piece that was also attached to the air dam when I had my sport coupe front bumper was a long skinny piece of plastic with 1 big square on each end, if any of you have a sport coupe/berlinetta you will see what I am talking about if anyone could post pictures that would be great.
Thanks again
